Dermatological Surgery

Dr. Pulcini practices dermatological surgery: a specialty that combines several skills (medical dermatologists and surgeons).
All types of skin lesions are treated.

In some cases, reconstruction is necessary.
Dr. Pulcini has genuine expertise in this area: safe excision and the most aesthetically pleasing result possible.

An initial consultation is mandatory.
There are two types of skin lesions:

Cancerous lesions* (or basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas, melanoma).
*after consultation with the multidisciplinary tumor board if indicated.

Non-cancerous lesions:
– Sebaceous cyst
– Scalp lesions
– Lipomas
– Suspicious moles
– Keloids
– Scar recurrence
– Biopsy
– Angiomas

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia.
The removed lesion is then analyzed in a laboratory to verify its nature and complete excision.

Post-operative recovery is usually straightforward. Local care is required for 5-15 days. Return to work is most often possible the same day.

Dr. Pulcini's team is available before and after the procedure to answer all your questions.

Dr. Pulcini is a Sector 1 physician.
She does not charge extra fees for dermatological surgery.

The procedures are reimbursed by Health Insurance and your Mutual Insurance.

The Centre takes care of patients benefiting from CMU, CMUC and AME (State Medical Aid).
