LED Light Therapy

LED therapy: light that regenerates! Regenerate your skin with photobiomodulation, a gentle and non-invasive rejuvenation method. Photobiomodulation is very similar to photosynthesis. Revealed by NASA—during a spaceflight, an astronaut treated his injured hand by placing it under a red light source—it has been approved by the very rigorous FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and validated by numerous scientific studies. LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy, or photobiomodulation, is a non-invasive, safe, and effective skin rejuvenation technique suitable for both the face and the entire body.

How does this form of light therapy work?

LEDs emit a "cold" light (compared to that of lasers which is accompanied by heat) whose color - red, orange, blue or yellow - has very specific properties.

Each color requires a different treatment!

The vibrational properties of light waves penetrate deep into the skin, reaching the cells to stimulate them and restore the function and energy of a young cell.

This stimulation, in practical terms, leads to physical and chemical changes within the cells.

Red light, the most widely used in aesthetic and anti-aging medicine, penetrates directly into the deep dermis and stimulates, non-invasively and painlessly, ATP, the molecule that provides energy for all cellular processes.

This results in a veritable cascade of benefits:
accelerated tissue regeneration,
optimal functioning of fibroblasts (the dermal cells responsible for producing elastin and collagen fibers),
skin healing, toxin drainage, and improved blood circulation.

LED technology is a versatile platform with 4 wavelengths (blue, red, yellow, infrared) allowing it to treat a large number of indications: combined treatments in aesthetic medicine, post-operative and restorative care (after a peel) and dermatological care to treat acne, for example.

Did you know? When combined with peeling, LED light therapy optimizes the results!

It is indeed a very effective complement to anti-aging treatments, such as peels, but also after a session of hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin (Botox) injections.

LEDs provide a simultaneous anti-aging action, thanks to photobiomodulation which stimulates neocollagenesis and cell renewal.

LEDs also help reduce social downtime after treatment.
They provide a soothing and healing effect and help reduce inflammatory after-effects.

Indications for LED therapy:

Light therapy is an alternative treatment, without needles or scalpels, for a wide range of problems such as: skin laxity, wrinkles and fine lines, redness and post-treatment reactions (injections, peels, etc.), hair loss, alopecia, acne, scars and burns, and recent stretch marks

More precisely :

Combined anti-aging and post-treatment care.
Instant radiance and rapid reduction of under-eye bags, thanks to the LED "booster" effect on microcirculation and lymphatic drainage.

Skin is visibly fresher and clearer.
A progressive reduction of wrinkles, improved skin elasticity, tissue redensification, and a more defined facial contour are observed.

Combined with biostimulating mesotherapy, the MesoLED treatment effectively combats the first signs of aging!

The LED optimizes the result!

Scalp – Alopecia. Hair loss is gradually stopped and regrowth is stimulated. LED sessions, performed during the month following a hair transplant, lead to faster regrowth of the grafts. In combination with hair mesotherapy, the LED lamp effectively treats diffuse alopecia in both men and women. The action of yellow and red light at the end of the treatment stimulates cell renewal. In just a few sessions, Médisol LED treatment significantly slows hair loss and results in increased hair density and regrowth. Acne. Blue LEDs act on and destroy the proteins of the bacteria responsible for acne (porphyrins). Red LEDs penetrate deeply to reach the sebaceous glands for an anti-inflammatory effect. Acne scars and marks are also reduced. But that's not all: we now know that LED therapy also detoxifies the body and boosts immunity. How does an LED session work? Comfortably lying down, panels equipped with diodes are precisely positioned a few centimeters from the areas to be treated. The light, emitted for fifteen to thirty minutes, provides absolute relaxation: don't be surprised if you doze off! This relaxing effect is due to the positive action of LEDs on the secretion of serotonin, more commonly known as the "feel-good hormone." The advantages of LED therapy: no risk of burns or pigment rebound; no side effects; suitable for all skin types; no downtime; an effective, gentle, and "natural" rejuvenation technique; risk-free (it's not UV!). How often should LED sessions be performed? For your light therapy, the protocol varies according to your needs and indications. Indeed, more LED therapy sessions may be required depending on the severity of the problem and the condition of your skin. When used alone, the recommended sessions are generally one to two per week for two months. Afterward, we recommend a maintenance phase with one session per month. In all cases, a personalized protocol is established beforehand with your doctor and may therefore vary from one patient to another.
