How does it work?
Carbon Peel is a gentle peel that uses carbon as a carrier to highlight skin impurities and imperfections (clogged or enlarged pores, spots, fine lines).

The laser is activated when it sees the carbon particles and makes them “implode” along with the skin’s imperfections.
Carbon Peel is a complete treatment that:

• Acts on collagen production: the laser’s reaction with the skin helps stimulate collagen, leading to the production of new collagen, which will reduce wrinkles and fine lines, improve skin density and elasticity

How does a session work?
The session lasts about 30 minutes and is painless. The patient feels a slight tingling sensation along with a feeling of warmth.
Carbon Peel consists of several steps.
After carefully removing makeup and disinfecting the skin, the specially patented carbon solution for this treatment is applied to the face. This solution is made of very small mineral carbon particles, allowing it to penetrate deeply into the skin.
Once the solution has dried, the laser treatment can begin; it will cause the carbon to vaporize, taking the skin debris with it.

A second laser pass is performed without carbon. This pass helps re-stimulate collagen and enhance its action on fine lines and on the firmness / elasticity of the skin. In particular, it strengthens its effect on pigmentation spots to even out the complexion.

What is the protocol?
The protocol is determined during the first consultation, the aim of which is to assess the skin type and its concerns in order to better meet the patient’s expectations. The protocol may consist of a single session for a quick glow-up (for example before an event) or up to 6 sessions every 15 days for the treatment of acne or acne scars.
