Lip reduction is a surgical procedure performed either under local or general anesthesia.



The operation consists of removing, using plastic surgery techniques, part of the lip’s mucosa and the orbicularis muscle (a spindle with local plasty) by placing incisions inside the lip and respecting the harmonious shape of the natural lip. The scars are therefore invisible because they are hidden inside the mouth.
