FACELIFTING

Morphological analysis of the face helps determine which facelift is most likely to suit the patient by correcting signs of aging.

A facelift is one of the oldest procedures in aesthetic surgery.
Plastic surgeons have over 50 years of experience!
Facelift surgery (cervicofacial) is still the best-known, but other types of facelifts have been developed over the years.

Cervicofacial facelift surgery targets the neck and face; it allows the facial oval to be reshaped and the skin on the neck to be tightened. This procedure changes nothing in the structure of the face—it only restores it.

Frontal lift

The front lift consists of correcting skin laxity at the level of the forehead and eyebrows. It targets the lion’s wrinkle and crow’s feet.

It helps to “refresh” the upper part of the face by correcting, in particular, the drooping of the eyebrows and upper eyelids. A front lift can be performed from the age of 40. But since the advent of Botulinum Toxin injections, this procedure is becoming less and less popular.

Temporal lift

Temporal lifting is a surgical procedure performed at the temples. The incision will be made along the scalp on the temporal skin and will allow the upper eyelids to be lifted.

It helps reposition the tail of the eyebrow and reduce excess skin on the upper eyelids. The “sad face” effect will therefore be less noticeable.

If Botulinum Toxin injections can correct this area, they are less long-lasting than a frontal lift.

Mini lift

The mini-lift technique also helps reshape the face contour or the forehead. It corrects sagging skin, muscles, and fat. The mini-lift is considered gentler and more natural.

The incisions will be more minimal, and it is performed under local anesthesia, between 40 and 50 years old. Whatever technique is chosen, a facelift is not permanent.

Skin aging continues, and on average, surgery can last 10 years.
