Profileplasty represents a new way of understanding facial rejuvenation and attractiveness by studying and providing morphological care for a patient’s profile.
Therefore, the focus is not primarily on wrinkles or the grooves formed by our skin (especially noticeable from the front), but rather on the entire lines and contours of our face in order to perceive our identity and convey the impression of youth or beauty.
For example, a nose may be perceived as too prominent due to a receding chin, a set-back forehead, flat cheekbones, or a combination of all these factors.
After analyzing a profile, the indication for profileplasty will be to erase the “lines that make you look older” and replace them with new, more attractive and youthful lines and contours.
Profileplasty involves studying harmony between the three levels of the face, and understanding that the nose is perceived in terms of its size and length relative to the elements around it (mainly the forehead, cheeks, and chin).
After clinical examination, Dr. PULCINI will balance the profile by acting on several areas: a more arched forehead, increased volume of the chin and lips, projection of the cheeks, modification of the lower third of the face that is too short,… with the goal of achieving a nose that is much more harmonious with the rest of the face and, by extension, an overall balance at the level of the profile, without surgery.

The injections are not painful.
Results are immediate, natural, and stable. They are optimal after one week and can last between 2 and 5 years depending on the injection area (temples). Indeed, the hyaluronic acid used for this type of treatment is much denser and more concentrated than the one we inject to fill a wrinkle or hollow.
The effects are all the more visible and long-lasting when we work deep down, in an area that is little or not mobile, with no fat or connective tissue. Conversely, injections in the lips may last less depending on the patient.
A small touch-up (to correct or to undercorrect) may be offered to you following your follow-up appointment to fine-tune the result and satisfy you as much as possible.
It is possible, although fairly rare, to notice a few bruises or slight swelling in the days following. A moderate, temporary decrease in sensitivity in the treated areas can occur in the hours after the procedure and last for the first few days. The lips may swell slightly for 2 or 3 days.
